The controller of the personal data collected through this website is IK Bell Estética Avanzada, owner of the IK Bell beauty salon (hereinafter, IK Bell).

2. What data we process and how we obtain it

This website collects very little data. The only way you can give us information directly is the contact form on the Contact page.

The form has no email field: we will reply by telephone or by WhatsApp to the number you give us. The telephone number is the only mandatory field, because without it we cannot get back to you.

We ask you to include in your message only the information needed to understand your enquiry. Any additional data you choose to write will also be stored in the message.

The website has no user registration and no private area, and it does not allow online purchases or payments. The catalogue of services and prices is for information only.

• Data provided in the contact form: name, subject, telephone number (mandatory field) and the content of the message.
• Browsing data obtained automatically through analytics cookies: IP address, browser or device identifiers, pages visited, language, source of the visit and statistical usage data.
• Data you give us if you write to us on WhatsApp or call us on the phone, the usual channels for booking an appointment.

3. Purposes and legal bases for the processing

We process your data only for the purposes set out below, each one with its legal basis.

• To answer your enquiry and contact you with a reply. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
• To handle your appointment request and organise the service you ask us for. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request and performance of the requested service (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To compile website usage statistics with Google Analytics, in order to know which pages are viewed and improve the content. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR and art. 22.2 of Ley 34/2002, the Spanish law on information society services, LSSI-CE).

4. What we do not do with your data

We do not send bulletins, newsletters or commercial communications by email. We have no subscriber list.

We do not build profiles and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects on you.

We do not sell, rent or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@ikbell.es. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before it.

5. Health data and special categories of data

IK Bell also provides aesthetic medicine services. In that context it may be necessary to process data relating to your health (medical history, allergies, medication, clinical photographs of the area to be treated). This is a special category of data, protected by art. 9 of the GDPR.

This data is not collected through this website. It is gathered in person at the centre, by means of the corresponding informed consent forms and clinical records, and it is processed with your explicit consent (art. 9.2.a GDPR) and in the context of the provision of health care by a professional bound by professional secrecy (art. 9.2.h and 9.3 GDPR).

That is why we expressly ask you not to use the contact form to send us medical information.

• Do not include diagnoses, conditions, medication, medical reports or photographs of a medical nature in the form.
• If your enquiry requires an assessment of your state of health, simply tell us that you would like information about a treatment and we will discuss it in person or by telephone.
• Access to clinical records is limited to healthcare staff and to those people at the centre who take part in providing the service, all of them bound by a duty of confidentiality.

6. Retention periods

We keep data only for as long as strictly necessary for the purpose that justifies it and, after that, for the statutory limitation periods applicable to any liabilities that may arise.

Once those periods have elapsed, the data is erased or blocked, remaining available solely to the public authorities, judges and courts for as long as any liability may arise.

• Data of people who have received a service at the salon: for the limitation periods applicable to liabilities arising from the service and, in the case of healthcare records, for the period required by the applicable regulations.
• Google Analytics statistical data: for the retention period configured in the analytics property; aggregated reports are kept in a form that does not allow specific individuals to be identified.

7. Recipients, processors and international transfers

We do not disclose your data to third parties, except where required by law. We do use technology providers that access the data in order to provide us with their services and that act as processors, under the contract required by art. 28 of the GDPR.

The use of Google services involves an international transfer of data to the United States. That transfer is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Our website contains links to WhatsApp and Instagram. When you click on them you leave ikbell.es and move to a third-party service with its own terms and privacy policy, over which we have no control.

• Hostinger: hosting of the website and of the database in which form messages are stored. Servers located in the European Union.
• Google (Google Analytics 4): statistical measurement of visits. It receives your IP address and technical browsing data.
• Google Maps: map embedded on the Contact page. When it loads it may receive your IP address and install its own cookies.
• Google Fonts: typefaces loaded from Google servers, which receive your IP address.
• Content delivery networks (cdn.jsdelivr.net and ajax.googleapis.com), from which technical resources needed for the website to work are loaded.

8. Communication by WhatsApp and by telephone

Appointments are handled by WhatsApp or by telephone. If you write to us on WhatsApp, the conversation takes place on a Meta platform and is subject to Meta's terms and privacy policy, which are outside IK Bell's control.

For that reason we recommend that you do not send data relating to your health, medical reports or clinical photographs via WhatsApp. If you need to share that kind of information, we will deal with it in person at the centre.

We keep conversations for as long as we need them to manage your appointment and the subsequent follow-up of the service.

9. Your rights

Data protection law gives you a series of rights that you can exercise free of charge.

To exercise them, send a request to info@ikbell.es or in writing to Avenida Villajoyosa 12, local 1, 03502 Benidorm (Alicante), stating the right you wish to exercise and proving your identity. We will reply within one month of receiving the request.

If you believe that we have not dealt with your request properly, or that the processing of your data does not comply with the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, www.aepd.es).

• Access: to know what data of yours we process and to obtain a copy of it.
• Rectification: to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erasure: to ask us to delete your data when it is no longer necessary.
• Restriction of processing: to ask us to keep the data without using it while a complaint or a rectification is being resolved.
• Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or to have us transmit it to another controller where this is technically possible.
• Objection: to object to our processing of your data on grounds relating to your particular situation.
• Withdrawal of consent: to revoke the consent you have given at any time, without retroactive effect.

10. Cookies, security and changes to this policy

This site uses technical cookies necessary for it to work (WordPress session, WooCommerce operation, language selection and caching), Google Analytics analytics cookies and third-party cookies associated with Google Maps and Google Fonts. Details of each one and how to manage them are set out in our Cookie Policy.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, in accordance with art. 32 of the GDPR. Access to the messages we receive is restricted to the salon staff who need to handle them.

We may update this policy if our services, the tools we use or the applicable law change. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
